Woah, I've never seen sawed-off drop bars! Or maybe they are upside-down bullhorn handlebars with hoods? Either way that's crazy

And the down-bar shifters are classy. My commuter bike has similar shifters on the stem.

Nice ride you got there

Maybe you can bring back the monocle as a fashion statement. I think we should all start wearing white gloves and feather boas, too. Get to work on that, eh?
I think your new bike is lovely. Hey, we are looking for a simple bike for Lauren to ride. Any chance you would unload your old bike on us? We have tools, and a pump to deal with troublesome tire issues. : )

Wine and Candle stash: Get a piece of 6" dia. ABS or PVC plastic pipe about 18 inches long. Get two end caps for the pipe, glue one end, the other end is friction fit (the lid). Take some post-hole diggers and dig a round hole just deep enough for the pipe assembly. Bury the pipe with the glued end facing down. Tamp soil around the pipe, leaving some room around the loose cap at the top. Load your goodies into the pipe, put the cap on. Cover your stash with a round stepping stone. Voila!

Awesome. Ning got into sewing lately and she got a new machine for Christmas. My mom has an old machine that needs to be fixed (it goes full speed as soon as it's plugged in; I'm guessing the foot pedal shorted somehow), but I don't know what to do with it. It's hard to find replacement parts.

Anyway, looking forward to your fabric inventions!
