I do remember the upside down cupcakes. I seem to remember that we felt like we had discovered something brilliant that day. I was trying to explain “our world” to Mike recently. I don’t think he got it.

Wow! You really came up with an incredible list that describes Anne perfectly! What I love about her… that she has been my best friend for 20 years! Twenty years! It is so amazing to have a friend so completly different from myself, and yet be an important part of who I am. She is like a sister. Literally, most childhood memories involve Anne… and she was just as fabulous (and creative and athletic and kind and food-adventurous and HALARIOUS and genious…) as she is today! Hurray for Anne and happy birthday! Anne, remember the upside down cupcakes?????

Your dad came back to our apartment to share your 26 views of Anne. . . in the process of telling me about it he was moved to tears. Thank you for your view of Anne. . . somehow it made her seem not quite so far away. It bothers me to not be able to pick up a phone and remind her of her “specialness”. Each one of you has such special traits and it is great fun to celebrate those gifts as the treasures they are. Much love to all and a happy birthday to Anne!!!!

As the oldest cousin with quite an age gap, I didn’t really get to be with Anne much at all, therefore I don’t know a whole lot about her. But what I do know about her, and appreciate about her, is that she is a very happy soul, and emanates that to others around her. I also get the vibe and appreciate the fact that she accepts and celebrates people for who they are. Her bogs keep me entertained too! Happy Birthday Anne!
