Ain’t No thing Wrong with my Brain

So my neurologist says that the spot is still a spot (out damn spot!), but doesn’t seem to have any problems with it.  She says that it is a mass of tissue that has malformed or shows trauma of some sort (maybe migraines, maybe oxygen deprivation, maybe, maybe, maybe….as you can see, they don’t really know these things).  I am officially “released” from her care.  Nothing is wrong with my brain, it is just decorated differently.

    Double yay!

We always knew your brain was different, and now your neurologist has proved it. Did she say maybe the spot was a result of all those awesome ideas that you get?

“decorated differently”… Ha! only an artist would say that.

I remember there was an episode of Medium (yes, I am a TV junkie) where they found a spot on the main character’s brain, who is a medium. They alluded to the theory that, that was why she could read minds and see dead people… Do you see dead people?

When we start thinking about the range of “normal” we see that it covers a lot of territory. I’m glad you got it looked at initially and then followed through. Normal or no, you’re special to a lot of people, blips and all.

It’s a great relief to hear that you are merely brain damaged and that you don’t have something more serious. I was actually quite worried. Thank you for the update.

Did you know that people have different bones too? The human skeleton isn’t even the same in everyone! That is fascinating to me- people can have the same bones, but in different places. Freaky!

Oh, that explains it! I was wondering why my pinky toe bone was missing… I wonder where in my body it went? I wonder where the creative bone lives too… I guess anywhere.
