A couple weeks ago we were at a housewarming and met a new couple (there were also lots of couples there we already knew).  We mentioned that my friend Stacy (also there) had had to move from Italy straight to Alabama and what a horrible transition that was, and the husband-half of the new couple said that his wife wanted to move to Alabama because she wants to raise chickens.  So of course I had to tell her 1) NO, YOU REALLY, REALLY DON&#039;T WANT TO MOVE TO ALABAMA, and 2) there are many much nicer places you can have chickens, Portland, Oregon being one of them.  So I told her all about you!</description>
